As one of Dalmatia's most striking and identifiable views, the First Bay Resort sits directly opposite the medieval fishing village of Primosten. The steep rocky site is the location for the 5 Star First Bay Resort that features a cross section of luxury villa and hotel accommodations. Developed to preserve the natural features and topography, the First Bay features the main hotel complex on the northern half of the site with Dalmi Village in the heart and a Villa resort to the south.

The main resort contains the main hotel complex with the main hotel building, Conference centre and Spa along with apartment style clusters and luxury villas. Closer to the sea, the Central Piazza contains a cluster of restaurants featuring regional cuisine and a small performance area overlooking the Lungo Mare.

The central component of the First Bay Resort is the Dalmi Village. Positioned just to the south of the main entry and Hotel, the Dalmi Village functions as an urbanized centre of the resort, providing a higher density experience. It features the Village, the Villas and the Market.

The main village street winds towards the sea and terminates with the First Bay Marina. The Marina hosts approximately 55 luxury yachts accommodates guests visiting the resort, offering a sailing school and restaurant among the other amenities.

The design intent of the resort and landscape features has been extracted from the local flavour of the region. Building proportions, materials and plants are all reflective of the established local building practices drawing on the fishing village vernacular of Primosten and the surrounding countryside. These elements have been thoughtfully combined with contemporary architectural styles and technologies to develop an identifiable style for the Resort. Transparency through buildings is a fundamental design element allowing visual access to the sea. The location offers unique vantage points, as well as intimate courtyards. The basis of the First Bay landscape design was to reflect the regional character of the Dalmatian coastline.
